How we verify what we sell.
The single biggest risk in this hobby is buying something that isn't what it claims to be. Here's exactly how we handle that, so you can decide whether to trust us on your own terms rather than taking our word for it.
Graded cards
Every graded card we list includes its certification number in the product description. Before you buy, take that number to the grading company's own verification lookup and confirm it matches the card, the set, and the grade shown in our photos. We want you to check. A seller who doesn't want you verifying cert numbers is telling you something.
We photograph the actual card, including the label, from angles that make the cert number legible. We do not use stock photos or photos of a different copy of the same card. What's pictured is what ships.
We do not crack, re-holder, or alter graded cards, and we do not sell anything we have reason to believe is in a counterfeit case. If a case looks wrong to us, it doesn't get listed.
Raw singles
Raw cards are graded by eye, by us, and we describe them conservatively. When we say Near Mint we mean it would likely grade well, not that it looks fine from four feet away. Centering, edges, corners, and surface are called out individually where they're relevant.
Every raw single is photographed front and back. If you want additional photos or a closer look at a specific corner before buying, ask. We'll take them.
Raw cards are sold as-is on condition. Because grading is subjective and grading companies disagree with each other regularly, we can't guarantee what a card will grade if you submit it. We can only guarantee it's the card in the photos, in the condition described.
Sealed product
Everything in our Sealed Product collection comes through authorized distribution channels. We do not purchase sealed product from secondary marketplaces, estate lots, or pallet liquidation, because those are the channels through which resealed and weighed product enters the market.
We do not weigh, search, or otherwise interfere with sealed product. Boxes are stored sealed and shipped sealed.
If you receive sealed product and have any reason to believe it has been tampered with, stop, photograph it before opening further, and contact us. We will take it back.
Our guarantee
If any item you receive from us is not authentic, is not the item pictured, or is materially different from how we described it, send it back for a full refund including your return shipping. No time limit on authenticity claims. We stand behind everything we list.
